Diamond stone was a blessing to work with. Communication was easy, everyone was punctual and easy to work with. They helped us pick a turf that would better suit our needs and were done with the work in 2 days. Everything looks amazing and I will absolutely be using them for future projects.

We were looking for a landscape design and construction service for the backyard of our new home in Phoenix. My wife found Diamond Stone & Synthetic Grass online, with good reviews, so we decided to get a quote from them. The project manager, DANIEL, responded and did the measurement for our backyard. He explained to us the materials and the labors. And the most importantly, the grading to direct water out of the backyard and away from the foundation of the house. In the same afternoon, he sent us the quote, the detail measurement, and the selections of materials. The quote is much better than what we expected, so we decided to hire them for this project. While the construction is ongoing, Daniel always kept us updated. We asked a lot of questions during the process, to prevent mistakes caused by misunderstanding. Daniel and his team always responded in a timely manner. The whole team is knowledgeable, friendly, and patient. They took care of the questions and issues we brought up, and the project ends up awesome. When I saw the outcome, I have nothing else to say but WOW. There was a tiny hiccough that the paver was too close to the gate, causing it hard to close. Once we brought it to Daniel's attention, his team showed up in two days and fixed it. How can we not appreciate a team taking care of problems so quickly? We are very happy that we chose DSSG to do our backyard.

Extremely satisfied with diamond stone. Daniel was very friendly and helpful during the consultation. I met with so many different companies, but knew almost immediately I’d go with them because of how Daniel communicated and made me feel confident in their work. The crew was very quick and professional as well. We got new turf installed and it looks amazing! Even after it was done, they have been communicating with me all the way. Great service and reasonable prices.

Plan landscape lighting around the way you want to use your Phoenix property.
Trace the route from the arrival area to the front door. Discuss the walkway, steps, and planting along that approach, then consider how the proposed fixtures will look from the street and from inside the home.
Choose the trees, stone surfaces, or planting forms that deserve attention. A short list of priorities gives the design direction and helps distinguish focal points from areas that can remain quieter.
Review the lighting from seated positions as well as while walking. The location and direction of a fixture can change how the patio feels, especially when a light source faces chairs or nearby windows.

Finished stone entry walkway with path lights and illuminated desert planting.
Completed backyard at sunset with uplighted trees along a synthetic lawn.
Finished modern front landscape with path lighting and illuminated cactus planting.
Begin at the main entrance, then look outward from the rooms and patio areas you use in the evening. These viewpoints may call for different emphasis. A tree visible through a window, for example, may be more relevant to your experience than a feature near a boundary you rarely see.
Bring lighting into the conversation while reviewing new paving and planting. Installation routes, existing equipment, and access for later adjustments all matter. If some lights will remain, ask how their appearance and controls can be considered alongside the proposed additions.
Ask about 3D landscape renderings when you want to discuss the proposed appearance before installation.
The proposal should identify fixture locations, the equipment included, and the intended controls. Discuss beam direction, shielding, and output using the selected products. Ask how final aiming and adjustments will be handled, along with any required electrical work. A clear equipment and installation scope makes it easier to assess the proposed evening result.
Yes. Include the lighting goals while discussing patios, planting, and outdoor rooms. The proposed layout can then account for installation routes and the features that will be present when the work is complete.
Start with what you see from the entry, main windows, and seating areas. Identify a few priorities and discuss their shape and position, including how the proposed lighting will relate to nearby features.
Show the route and any changes in level on the landscape plan. Review fixture placement with the paving and borders so the visible equipment and the intended light distribution are considered together.
Describe the seated viewpoints during planning. Ask about fixture positioning, aiming, shielding, and the output of the selected products. Those details should be assessed from the places where you will actually spend time.
Share photos and any available equipment details. Their condition, placement, and compatibility with the proposed work need review before the scope can identify what will be retained or replaced.
