Diamond stone was a blessing to work with. Communication was easy, everyone was punctual and easy to work with. They helped us pick a turf that would better suit our needs and were done with the work in 2 days. Everything looks amazing and I will absolutely be using them for future projects.

We were looking for a landscape design and construction service for the backyard of our new home in Phoenix. My wife found Diamond Stone & Synthetic Grass online, with good reviews, so we decided to get a quote from them. The project manager, DANIEL, responded and did the measurement for our backyard. He explained to us the materials and the labors. And the most importantly, the grading to direct water out of the backyard and away from the foundation of the house. In the same afternoon, he sent us the quote, the detail measurement, and the selections of materials. The quote is much better than what we expected, so we decided to hire them for this project. While the construction is ongoing, Daniel always kept us updated. We asked a lot of questions during the process, to prevent mistakes caused by misunderstanding. Daniel and his team always responded in a timely manner. The whole team is knowledgeable, friendly, and patient. They took care of the questions and issues we brought up, and the project ends up awesome. When I saw the outcome, I have nothing else to say but WOW. There was a tiny hiccough that the paver was too close to the gate, causing it hard to close. Once we brought it to Daniel's attention, his team showed up in two days and fixed it. How can we not appreciate a team taking care of problems so quickly? We are very happy that we chose DSSG to do our backyard.

Extremely satisfied with diamond stone. Daniel was very friendly and helpful during the consultation. I met with so many different companies, but knew almost immediately I’d go with them because of how Daniel communicated and made me feel confident in their work. The crew was very quick and professional as well. We got new turf installed and it looks amazing! Even after it was done, they have been communicating with me all the way. Great service and reasonable prices.

Plan synthetic grass around the way you want to use your Phoenix property.
Decide whether the lawn is a place to gather, an everyday play area, or a green view from the house. That choice helps define its size and how much of the yard should remain available for seating and planted borders.
Look closely at the boundary beside a walkway or terrace. Straight runs, curved edges, and stepping-stone connections each create a different rhythm. Work through those details in the drawing before the installation begins.
Bring turf samples into the material conversation alongside your paving and exterior finishes. Compare the color, texture, and intended use of each option so your selection reflects more than a photograph.
These real project photos show work from the DSSG portfolio across the Phoenix Valley. Explore the finished materials, layout, and connections between outdoor spaces.

Your main living-room windows and patio doors can provide a useful starting point. Look at which parts of the lawn will be visible and where furniture, trees, or a shade structure interrupt the view. A balanced outline can connect separate areas of the yard without turning every remaining space into turf.
If the project also includes a new patio or outdoor kitchen, set out those footprints together. The sequence of removal, preparation, and adjoining work affects where the final turf edges belong. Discuss existing irrigation, access, and water movement while the layout is still being developed. If you plan to apply for the City of Phoenix grass removal incentive, get your Notice to Proceed before any grass comes out. Our Arizona turf rebate guide covers the Phoenix program and how other Valley cities treat artificial turf.
Ask about 3D landscape renderings when you want to discuss the proposed appearance before installation.
Ask for a defined installation area and the selected turf product in your proposal. Review removal, base preparation, seams, infill, and edging as part of that scope. Maintenance guidance matters too: synthetic grass needs cleaning and care. Discuss sunny exposure and intended hours of use when choosing how the lawn fits into your Phoenix backyard.
Yes. You can plan it with paving, shade, lighting, and planting so the boundaries are considered together. Share your larger ideas even if the first installation will cover only the lawn.
Use the furniture layout and walking routes to establish the surrounding spaces first. Then review the lawn outline from the house and patio, including how it meets each retained surface.
Discuss the route and intended use during planning. The drawing should show stone dimensions, spacing, and the relationship to surrounding finished levels so the paving and turf can be coordinated.
Describe the type of use, the available area, and your cleaning routine. Ask which turf and installation details are proposed for that use and request the relevant product care guidance.
Send your location, yard photos, approximate dimensions, and the features you want to keep. Include any related patio or irrigation work so the proposal can address the full installation area.
