Diamond stone was a blessing to work with. Communication was easy, everyone was punctual and easy to work with. They helped us pick a turf that would better suit our needs and were done with the work in 2 days. Everything looks amazing and I will absolutely be using them for future projects.

We were looking for a landscape design and construction service for the backyard of our new home in Phoenix. My wife found Diamond Stone & Synthetic Grass online, with good reviews, so we decided to get a quote from them. The project manager, DANIEL, responded and did the measurement for our backyard. He explained to us the materials and the labors. And the most importantly, the grading to direct water out of the backyard and away from the foundation of the house. In the same afternoon, he sent us the quote, the detail measurement, and the selections of materials. The quote is much better than what we expected, so we decided to hire them for this project. While the construction is ongoing, Daniel always kept us updated. We asked a lot of questions during the process, to prevent mistakes caused by misunderstanding. Daniel and his team always responded in a timely manner. The whole team is knowledgeable, friendly, and patient. They took care of the questions and issues we brought up, and the project ends up awesome. When I saw the outcome, I have nothing else to say but WOW. There was a tiny hiccough that the paver was too close to the gate, causing it hard to close. Once we brought it to Daniel's attention, his team showed up in two days and fixed it. How can we not appreciate a team taking care of problems so quickly? We are very happy that we chose DSSG to do our backyard.

Extremely satisfied with diamond stone. Daniel was very friendly and helpful during the consultation. I met with so many different companies, but knew almost immediately I’d go with them because of how Daniel communicated and made me feel confident in their work. The crew was very quick and professional as well. We got new turf installed and it looks amazing! Even after it was done, they have been communicating with me all the way. Great service and reasonable prices.

Plan putting greens around the way you want to use your Phoenix property.
Describe the distances and variety you would like to work on. The outline and cup positions should be considered together so the green offers purposeful practice within the actual space available.
Leave space around the putting surface for your stance and the routes you use between cups. Review nearby planting, furniture, and walls so the green can be used comfortably within its surroundings.
A fringe or border changes how the practice area meets the rest of the yard. Compare those details with the nearby lawn and hardscape so the finished green looks intentional from the patio as well as during play.

A sketch of the available space is more useful than starting with a preferred shape alone. Include doors, paths, pool access, and any features you plan to retain. From there, discuss the putting lines and hole locations that can fit without interrupting the everyday use of your Phoenix backyard.
Decide whether your priority is focused practice, casual games with guests, or both. Those goals influence the discussion about contours and surface selection. If you also want to explore chipping, describe that separately so the available room and surrounding features can be assessed as part of the design.
Ask about 3D landscape renderings when you want to discuss the proposed appearance before installation.
Your proposal should describe the putting turf, prepared base, cup locations, and perimeter treatment. Ask how the proposed contours and installation details relate to your practice goals. Surface speed and ball response depend on the selected system and conditions; discuss the intended result directly. Include maintenance requirements and access to the green in the planning conversation.
Begin with the area you can dedicate and the putting distances you want. The usable footprint must also account for a stance area, circulation, cups, and adjoining features. A property-specific layout will show what fits.
Discuss the positions and intended putting lines in the design. The number of cups should relate to the available surface and practice goals rather than being chosen before the layout is reviewed.
Explain the type of practice you want and ask about the proposed contours. Review how the shape, base preparation, and cup locations work together before confirming the finished design.
Yes. Plan the approach from the patio, the edge detail, and the spaces around the green together. A coordinated drawing helps place the practice area within the overall backyard layout.
Share your Phoenix location, yard photos, available dimensions, and how you intend to use the green. Mention other planned improvements so the proposal can account for adjoining work.
