Diamond stone was a blessing to work with. Communication was easy, everyone was punctual and easy to work with. They helped us pick a turf that would better suit our needs and were done with the work in 2 days. Everything looks amazing and I will absolutely be using them for future projects.

We were looking for a landscape design and construction service for the backyard of our new home in Phoenix. My wife found Diamond Stone & Synthetic Grass online, with good reviews, so we decided to get a quote from them. The project manager, DANIEL, responded and did the measurement for our backyard. He explained to us the materials and the labors. And the most importantly, the grading to direct water out of the backyard and away from the foundation of the house. In the same afternoon, he sent us the quote, the detail measurement, and the selections of materials. The quote is much better than what we expected, so we decided to hire them for this project. While the construction is ongoing, Daniel always kept us updated. We asked a lot of questions during the process, to prevent mistakes caused by misunderstanding. Daniel and his team always responded in a timely manner. The whole team is knowledgeable, friendly, and patient. They took care of the questions and issues we brought up, and the project ends up awesome. When I saw the outcome, I have nothing else to say but WOW. There was a tiny hiccough that the paver was too close to the gate, causing it hard to close. Once we brought it to Daniel's attention, his team showed up in two days and fixed it. How can we not appreciate a team taking care of problems so quickly? We are very happy that we chose DSSG to do our backyard.

Extremely satisfied with diamond stone. Daniel was very friendly and helpful during the consultation. I met with so many different companies, but knew almost immediately I’d go with them because of how Daniel communicated and made me feel confident in their work. The crew was very quick and professional as well. We got new turf installed and it looks amazing! Even after it was done, they have been communicating with me all the way. Great service and reasonable prices.

Your outdoor space should feel useful even when you are not hosting. Start with a comfortable everyday arrangement, then consider how it accommodates guests. A well-proportioned patio, the right shade placement, and room to move can make dining and relaxing outside easier.
Review the route from your back door and the times you prefer to sit outside. Keep a convenient place for everyday use, and compare how sun exposure and nearby activity affect its comfort.
Place an outdoor kitchen where the cook can remain part of the gathering while guests have space to move. Allow for appliance doors, preparation surfaces, and the route between cooking and dining.
Discuss lighting for steps, paths, and food preparation along with softer light around seating. Plan fixture and control locations early so lighting fits the layout and can be coordinated with installation.
These real DSSG photos from our Phoenix Valley portfolio show finished outdoor living areas, including shaded seating, kitchens, and stone terraces. Use them to compare features and material combinations for your own home.

For your Peoria outdoor living project, explain when you typically use the yard and what you want that time to look like. Morning coffee, an evening meal, and a weekend gathering may call for different seating or shade arrangements. Discuss the furniture you already own before settling on the patio dimensions.
Compare the kitchen, pergola, and lighting plans before any surrounding paving is finished. Utility access and the requirements of the selected appliances or structure can affect the layout. Confirm applicable approvals and any HOA requirements as part of planning your specific project.
Ask about 3D landscape renderings when you want to discuss the proposed appearance before installation.
A pergola, dining patio, and outdoor kitchen should each have a clear place in the design. You may also want lawn or planting around them to keep the yard balanced. Start with the overall arrangement, then confirm the selected features, finishes, and installation work in the proposal.
Comfortable seating, a usable patio, and suitable shade may be your main priorities. Add a kitchen if it supports how you cook and entertain. Discuss the layout first so each selected feature earns its place in the project.
Plan the everyday furniture arrangement first, with a clear route through the space. Then consider where additional seating could go when you host. The footprint should support both uses without requiring a permanent setup that overwhelms the yard.
Review the proposed location, the existing surface, and the structure's installation requirements. Shade goals, furniture placement, and connections to the home should guide the layout. Confirm any preparation or approvals needed before the work begins.
Identify the equipment you want early enough to plan dimensions, clearances, and utility needs. Final selections can affect the kitchen footprint and installation requirements. Confirm the selected models and what is included in the project before construction.
Bring photos of your Peoria yard, a list of activities you want to support, and your budget range. Include furniture or appliance dimensions if available. You can also share portfolio images that show the materials or atmosphere you prefer.
