Diamond stone was a blessing to work with. Communication was easy, everyone was punctual and easy to work with. They helped us pick a turf that would better suit our needs and were done with the work in 2 days. Everything looks amazing and I will absolutely be using them for future projects.

We were looking for a landscape design and construction service for the backyard of our new home in Phoenix. My wife found Diamond Stone & Synthetic Grass online, with good reviews, so we decided to get a quote from them. The project manager, DANIEL, responded and did the measurement for our backyard. He explained to us the materials and the labors. And the most importantly, the grading to direct water out of the backyard and away from the foundation of the house. In the same afternoon, he sent us the quote, the detail measurement, and the selections of materials. The quote is much better than what we expected, so we decided to hire them for this project. While the construction is ongoing, Daniel always kept us updated. We asked a lot of questions during the process, to prevent mistakes caused by misunderstanding. Daniel and his team always responded in a timely manner. The whole team is knowledgeable, friendly, and patient. They took care of the questions and issues we brought up, and the project ends up awesome. When I saw the outcome, I have nothing else to say but WOW. There was a tiny hiccough that the paver was too close to the gate, causing it hard to close. Once we brought it to Daniel's attention, his team showed up in two days and fixed it. How can we not appreciate a team taking care of problems so quickly? We are very happy that we chose DSSG to do our backyard.

Extremely satisfied with diamond stone. Daniel was very friendly and helpful during the consultation. I met with so many different companies, but knew almost immediately I’d go with them because of how Daniel communicated and made me feel confident in their work. The crew was very quick and professional as well. We got new turf installed and it looks amazing! Even after it was done, they have been communicating with me all the way. Great service and reasonable prices.

Plan concrete pavers around the way you want to use your Paradise Valley property.
Look at paving samples beside the exterior walls, existing stone, and nearby landscape finishes. The goal is a considered relationship between the materials, including their scale and texture, rather than choosing each surface in isolation.
Consider the route a visitor takes from the entry to your outdoor living areas. Paths and paved connections should have a clear destination, with comfortable access around planting beds and gathering spaces.
The connection to a lawn, planted area, or retained surface influences the finished appearance. Discuss where each area begins and ends, how level changes are handled, and which edging details belong in the proposal.

Finished backyard with paving, synthetic grass, string lights, and a pergola.
Brick outdoor kitchen with stainless steel grill beneath a lattice pergola.
Walk through your Paradise Valley property and identify the views, planting, and existing surfaces you want to retain. A new paver area can be planned around those features, with the installation boundary clearly shown. If only part of a yard is changing, pay particular attention to the connection between the new work and the landscape that remains.
For a larger renovation, consider the sequence of the work. A proposed kitchen, new shade structure, or changes to irrigation may influence the patio layout and preparation. Discuss these elements early so the paving proposal fits the wider project and your preferred phases.
Ask about 3D landscape renderings when you want to discuss the proposed appearance before installation.
A useful paving proposal identifies the area, selected materials, preparation, removal, and finishing details. Site access and existing conditions can change the amount of work behind the visible surface. Ask how adjoining areas will be treated and which items would require a separate scope.
Bring photos of the exterior and samples of any finishes you already intend to use. Compare paver colors, dimensions, texture, and patterns beside those materials before deciding which combination belongs in your landscape.
Point out the areas you want to retain during the project discussion. Their condition, position, and connection to the proposed work need to be reviewed before the installation boundary and transition details can be confirmed.
Discuss the final layout first, then ask how it could be divided into practical scopes. Access, preparation, utilities, and the connections between phases can affect the order of work and should be considered before proceeding.
The selected paver is one factor. The amount of removal, area size, access, base work, edge treatment, existing levels, and drainage conditions also influence a project-specific proposal. Share your priorities and budget before comparing options.
