Diamond stone was a blessing to work with. Communication was easy, everyone was punctual and easy to work with. They helped us pick a turf that would better suit our needs and were done with the work in 2 days. Everything looks amazing and I will absolutely be using them for future projects.

We were looking for a landscape design and construction service for the backyard of our new home in Phoenix. My wife found Diamond Stone & Synthetic Grass online, with good reviews, so we decided to get a quote from them. The project manager, DANIEL, responded and did the measurement for our backyard. He explained to us the materials and the labors. And the most importantly, the grading to direct water out of the backyard and away from the foundation of the house. In the same afternoon, he sent us the quote, the detail measurement, and the selections of materials. The quote is much better than what we expected, so we decided to hire them for this project. While the construction is ongoing, Daniel always kept us updated. We asked a lot of questions during the process, to prevent mistakes caused by misunderstanding. Daniel and his team always responded in a timely manner. The whole team is knowledgeable, friendly, and patient. They took care of the questions and issues we brought up, and the project ends up awesome. When I saw the outcome, I have nothing else to say but WOW. There was a tiny hiccough that the paver was too close to the gate, causing it hard to close. Once we brought it to Daniel's attention, his team showed up in two days and fixed it. How can we not appreciate a team taking care of problems so quickly? We are very happy that we chose DSSG to do our backyard.

Extremely satisfied with diamond stone. Daniel was very friendly and helpful during the consultation. I met with so many different companies, but knew almost immediately I’d go with them because of how Daniel communicated and made me feel confident in their work. The crew was very quick and professional as well. We got new turf installed and it looks amazing! Even after it was done, they have been communicating with me all the way. Great service and reasonable prices.

Look at where you walk when you step outside, carry food to the patio, or reach a side gate. Those routes help determine where paving belongs. A coordinated hardscape plan gives gathering areas enough space while keeping the connections between them straightforward.
Map the connections between doors, gates, seating, and backyard features. Review narrow passages and awkward turns before adding new paving so the finished routes support everyday access.
A small seating area and a dining patio need different footprints. Set out the intended furniture and allow space around it. Review how the patio meets the house and whether its edges leave useful room for the surrounding landscape.
Compare new paving with surfaces you intend to keep. Define where materials change and how borders meet lawn or planting. Consistent edge details can help a project feel complete even when it includes several different outdoor areas.

For a Peoria hardscape project, discuss where paving is needed and what already exists beneath or beside it. Removal, access, base preparation, and changes in level can affect the installation. Review any areas where runoff collects before selecting the final layout.
Compare actual material samples with your home and retained surfaces. Ask about the specific product's exterior use, finish, maintenance, and installation requirements. If you plan to add lighting, a pergola, or a kitchen later, identify any preparation that should happen before the paving is complete.
Ask about 3D landscape renderings when you want to discuss the proposed appearance before installation.
Concrete pavers, travertine, and exterior porcelain provide different options for your patio and paths. Compare the exact materials for the intended location and the care you are comfortable with. A clear proposal should connect those selections to the preparation, installation, borders, and adjoining surfaces included in the work.
Start with the access the area needs to provide, including gates and any equipment. Review available width, drainage, and nearby features before deciding on a paved route. A simple, well-planned path may be more useful than adding a separate activity area.
Use the dimensions of your intended furniture and allow space for movement while it is in use. Check doorways and the main route through the yard as part of the layout. Comparing a measured arrangement is more useful than choosing a patio size by appearance alone.
The layout can include both surfaces, with attention to the edges, preparation, and drainage of each area. Discuss whether the grass is a main open space or a smaller design element. The transition should support the intended use and maintenance of the finished yard.
Review its condition, elevation, and relationship to the new layout. Retaining sound paving may be practical, but extending it requires attention to available materials and the transition between old and new. Compare those options before the scope is finalized.
Confirm the area and material selections, removal and preparation, installation details, borders, and drainage considerations. Identify any related lighting, turf, or planting work separately. If the design requires specialized structural work, clarify those requirements and responsibilities as well.
