Diamond stone was a blessing to work with. Communication was easy, everyone was punctual and easy to work with. They helped us pick a turf that would better suit our needs and were done with the work in 2 days. Everything looks amazing and I will absolutely be using them for future projects.

We were looking for a landscape design and construction service for the backyard of our new home in Phoenix. My wife found Diamond Stone & Synthetic Grass online, with good reviews, so we decided to get a quote from them. The project manager, DANIEL, responded and did the measurement for our backyard. He explained to us the materials and the labors. And the most importantly, the grading to direct water out of the backyard and away from the foundation of the house. In the same afternoon, he sent us the quote, the detail measurement, and the selections of materials. The quote is much better than what we expected, so we decided to hire them for this project. While the construction is ongoing, Daniel always kept us updated. We asked a lot of questions during the process, to prevent mistakes caused by misunderstanding. Daniel and his team always responded in a timely manner. The whole team is knowledgeable, friendly, and patient. They took care of the questions and issues we brought up, and the project ends up awesome. When I saw the outcome, I have nothing else to say but WOW. There was a tiny hiccough that the paver was too close to the gate, causing it hard to close. Once we brought it to Daniel's attention, his team showed up in two days and fixed it. How can we not appreciate a team taking care of problems so quickly? We are very happy that we chose DSSG to do our backyard.

Extremely satisfied with diamond stone. Daniel was very friendly and helpful during the consultation. I met with so many different companies, but knew almost immediately I’d go with them because of how Daniel communicated and made me feel confident in their work. The crew was very quick and professional as well. We got new turf installed and it looks amazing! Even after it was done, they have been communicating with me all the way. Great service and reasonable prices.

Your renovation does not need to treat every part of the property the same way. A comfortable patio near the house may be the priority, while other areas work well as they are. Identify the spaces that need attention, then consider how the finished yard will connect to the landscape around it.
Identify planting, views, existing materials, or outdoor features that make your yard feel like home. Discuss how new paving and gathering areas can relate to them, and what protection retained areas will need during construction.
Start with the route from the house to your main seating area. Review the patio dimensions, shade, and surrounding surfaces so the renovation improves the part of the yard you reach for every day.
You may want open lawn, a separate retreat, or a simpler landscape beyond the patio. Discuss the purpose and upkeep of each area before adding paths or features that could compete for space.
These real after photos show DSSG projects across our Phoenix Valley portfolio. Explore how stone patios, lawn, and outdoor gathering areas can be arranged as parts of one landscape.

For your Cave Creek project, share wide views of the yard as well as photos of specific problem areas. Point out existing levels, access routes, and any places where water collects. Describe the outlook you want from the house and which parts of the landscape you would prefer to retain.
Review the work needed before the finished surfaces go in. Removal, preparation, irrigation changes, and access to retained features can affect the scope. If your property has association requirements or the proposed work needs approvals, account for those during planning.
Ask about 3D landscape renderings when you want to discuss the proposed appearance before installation.
A focused renovation may bring together a new patio, synthetic grass, or improved lighting. A broader plan could include shade and an outdoor kitchen. Define each selected feature and its relationship to retained areas in the proposal, and discuss drawings or 3D rendering if you want to compare the arrangement before installation.
Start by defining the area you want to improve and how it connects to the rest of the property. A focused project can be planned around retained planting and features. Confirm the work boundaries, construction access, and any preparation that extends beyond the finished area.
Identify what you want to retain before the layout is finalized. Review its condition and relationship to the proposed work, including irrigation and construction access. Any protection measures or specialist assessment should be discussed as part of the project scope.
Consider the yard from the doors and windows you use most. The position of lawn, patio edges, and taller features can influence that view. Share the sightlines you want to preserve and ask whether a visualization would help compare the proposed changes.
Existing levels and runoff need to be reviewed before choosing the final layout. Some conditions may require additional design or specialized work. Clarify those requirements, responsibilities, and costs rather than assuming they are covered by a surface replacement.
Provide the address, current photos, your main priorities, and a working budget. Include any available plans and property requirements. Ask which planning details come with the estimate and whether separate design or rendering services are appropriate.
