Mike and his team did a fantastic job bringing our vision to life. Our backyard was dirt with a pool and casita. The transformation is amazing and the workmanship was excellent. They were professional and had great communication, which we appreciated. We would highly recommend them for any job you have.

Diamond stone was a blessing to work with. Communication was easy, everyone was punctual and easy to work with. They helped us pick a turf that would better suit our needs and were done with the work in 2 days. Everything looks amazing and I will absolutely be using them for future projects.

We were looking for a landscape design and construction service for the backyard of our new home in Phoenix. My wife found Diamond Stone & Synthetic Grass online, with good reviews, so we decided to get a quote from them. The project manager, DANIEL, responded and did the measurement for our backyard. He explained to us the materials and the labors. And the most importantly, the grading to direct water out of the backyard and away from the foundation of the house. In the same afternoon, he sent us the quote, the detail measurement, and the selections of materials. The quote is much better than what we expected, so we decided to hire them for this project. While the construction is ongoing, Daniel always kept us updated. We asked a lot of questions during the process, to prevent mistakes caused by misunderstanding. Daniel and his team always responded in a timely manner. The whole team is knowledgeable, friendly, and patient. They took care of the questions and issues we brought up, and the project ends up awesome. When I saw the outcome, I have nothing else to say but WOW. There was a tiny hiccough that the paver was too close to the gate, causing it hard to close. Once we brought it to Daniel's attention, his team showed up in two days and fixed it. How can we not appreciate a team taking care of problems so quickly? We are very happy that we chose DSSG to do our backyard.

Extremely satisfied with diamond stone. Daniel was very friendly and helpful during the consultation. I met with so many different companies, but knew almost immediately I’d go with them because of how Daniel communicated and made me feel confident in their work. The crew was very quick and professional as well. We got new turf installed and it looks amazing! Even after it was done, they have been communicating with me all the way. Great service and reasonable prices.

A quiet seat with an open outlook serves a different purpose from a dining patio near the kitchen. Decide which experiences matter most, then arrange them around the home and landscape. A clear plan helps each area feel useful without adding more features than the space needs.
Think about the view and the route to your preferred seat. Compare that position with the shade you want at the hours you use it. The furniture arrangement should help guide a pergola location and patio footprint.
Consider how food, dishes, and guests move between the house and outdoor dining area. Locate a kitchen or serving surface where it supports that routine and leaves adequate room around seating and appliances.
Discuss lighting for walking and cooking alongside the softer light around a lounge. Consider where fixtures are visible from seating and nearby windows, and coordinate the wiring routes before paving is completed.

For a Cave Creek outdoor living project, describe the time of day you prefer to be outside and the views you enjoy. Review sun exposure, privacy, and the relationship between seating and the house. If you want a separate retreat, discuss how you will reach it and how often you expect to use it.
Bring dimensions for furniture or appliances you already have in mind. Review the kitchen, shade, and lighting requirements before settling on the patio layout. Confirm any applicable property or approval requirements for the selected scope, including any additional design services needed.
Ask about 3D landscape renderings when you want to discuss the proposed appearance before installation.
Your outdoor living plan may include a pergola lounge, an outdoor kitchen, or a dining terrace connected by suitable paving. Lawn and planting can help frame those areas. Review the selected features together so the proposal explains both the finished arrangement and the work required to create it.
Consider convenience, privacy, and how often you expect to use each location. Nearby seating can support everyday use, while a more distant area needs a clear purpose and a practical route. Compare both arrangements before committing to additional paving or structures.
Review the structure from the house and the planned seating positions. Its location, dimensions, and supporting elements should be considered alongside your preferred sightlines. Discuss shade goals at the same time so the design addresses both appearance and use.
Look at serving routes, appliance requirements, available space, and utility access. A kitchen should allow movement around the cooking area without interrupting occupied seating. Confirm the selected equipment and required clearances before the final footprint is set.
An existing covered area can provide a starting point if its condition and dimensions support your plans. Review furniture placement and the transition to any new surfaces. Additional gathering areas should connect to the retained patio in a practical way.
Ask what the available 3D rendering service includes and which views it can show. It may help you discuss the arrangement and appearance of selected features. Confirm deliverables, revisions, and any separate fees before design work begins.
