Diamond stone was a blessing to work with. Communication was easy, everyone was punctual and easy to work with. They helped us pick a turf that would better suit our needs and were done with the work in 2 days. Everything looks amazing and I will absolutely be using them for future projects.

We were looking for a landscape design and construction service for the backyard of our new home in Phoenix. My wife found Diamond Stone & Synthetic Grass online, with good reviews, so we decided to get a quote from them. The project manager, DANIEL, responded and did the measurement for our backyard. He explained to us the materials and the labors. And the most importantly, the grading to direct water out of the backyard and away from the foundation of the house. In the same afternoon, he sent us the quote, the detail measurement, and the selections of materials. The quote is much better than what we expected, so we decided to hire them for this project. While the construction is ongoing, Daniel always kept us updated. We asked a lot of questions during the process, to prevent mistakes caused by misunderstanding. Daniel and his team always responded in a timely manner. The whole team is knowledgeable, friendly, and patient. They took care of the questions and issues we brought up, and the project ends up awesome. When I saw the outcome, I have nothing else to say but WOW. There was a tiny hiccough that the paver was too close to the gate, causing it hard to close. Once we brought it to Daniel's attention, his team showed up in two days and fixed it. How can we not appreciate a team taking care of problems so quickly? We are very happy that we chose DSSG to do our backyard.

Extremely satisfied with diamond stone. Daniel was very friendly and helpful during the consultation. I met with so many different companies, but knew almost immediately I’d go with them because of how Daniel communicated and made me feel confident in their work. The crew was very quick and professional as well. We got new turf installed and it looks amazing! Even after it was done, they have been communicating with me all the way. Great service and reasonable prices.

Plan travertine & porcelain tile around the way you want to use your Scottsdale property.
Travertine brings variation from piece to piece, while porcelain offers a different range of controlled appearances. Review actual samples and the selected product details rather than deciding from a small online image.
Place the dining table, lounge chairs, and walking routes on the proposed layout. Useful clearance around a chair or door matters as much as the surface pattern when the patio is in daily use.
The join to a pool surround, lawn, or planted bed affects the whole finish. Review levels, edge details, and how surface water is intended to move before settling on the installation boundary.
These real project photos show work from the DSSG portfolio across the Phoenix Valley. Explore the finished materials, layout, and connections between outdoor spaces.

Completed outdoor bar on a porcelain-paved patio beside a pool.
Finished gray stone pool deck with a channel drain beside a covered patio.
Bring exterior photos and any samples already selected for walls, counters, or pool finishes. A large paved area can make a color or texture more noticeable than it appears on a sample board. Consider the material in the light conditions of the actual patio and beside the surfaces that will remain.
A complete outdoor design may use one surface to connect several gathering areas or introduce a deliberate change at a separate lounge. Discuss those decisions with the paving dimensions, proposed shade, and furniture layout. Coordinating the work early also helps identify preparation or drainage items that belong beneath the visible finish.
Ask about 3D landscape renderings when you want to discuss the proposed appearance before installation.
Ask which travertine or porcelain product is proposed and whether its specifications suit the intended outdoor application. Compare texture, maintenance, installation method, joints, and edge treatment. Surface temperature and traction vary with the product and conditions, so avoid assuming a material will always stay cool or prevent slipping. Review existing base conditions before confirming the final scope.
Compare the appearance you prefer, intended use, selected product specifications, and care requirements. Discuss samples alongside your home finishes and review the installation method proposed for each option.
Discuss the exact product and poolside application before making a selection. Texture, edge details, existing levels, drainage, and the connection to the pool surround all need to be considered together.
The existing material, condition, levels, and intended installation system need review first. Do not assume an overlay is suitable. The proposal should explain whether preparation, removal, or a new base is included.
Yes. Review the structure, kitchen footprint, furniture, and surface layout as a coordinated plan. Utility routes and installation sequence can influence the work that happens before the finished paving is installed.
Area, material, pattern, cuts, site access, removal, base preparation, and finishing details all influence the proposal. Share the full area and any connected landscape improvements when requesting an estimate.
