Diamond stone was a blessing to work with. Communication was easy, everyone was punctual and easy to work with. They helped us pick a turf that would better suit our needs and were done with the work in 2 days. Everything looks amazing and I will absolutely be using them for future projects.

We were looking for a landscape design and construction service for the backyard of our new home in Phoenix. My wife found Diamond Stone & Synthetic Grass online, with good reviews, so we decided to get a quote from them. The project manager, DANIEL, responded and did the measurement for our backyard. He explained to us the materials and the labors. And the most importantly, the grading to direct water out of the backyard and away from the foundation of the house. In the same afternoon, he sent us the quote, the detail measurement, and the selections of materials. The quote is much better than what we expected, so we decided to hire them for this project. While the construction is ongoing, Daniel always kept us updated. We asked a lot of questions during the process, to prevent mistakes caused by misunderstanding. Daniel and his team always responded in a timely manner. The whole team is knowledgeable, friendly, and patient. They took care of the questions and issues we brought up, and the project ends up awesome. When I saw the outcome, I have nothing else to say but WOW. There was a tiny hiccough that the paver was too close to the gate, causing it hard to close. Once we brought it to Daniel's attention, his team showed up in two days and fixed it. How can we not appreciate a team taking care of problems so quickly? We are very happy that we chose DSSG to do our backyard.

Extremely satisfied with diamond stone. Daniel was very friendly and helpful during the consultation. I met with so many different companies, but knew almost immediately I’d go with them because of how Daniel communicated and made me feel confident in their work. The crew was very quick and professional as well. We got new turf installed and it looks amazing! Even after it was done, they have been communicating with me all the way. Great service and reasonable prices.

Plan landscape lighting around the way you want to use your Scottsdale property.
Follow the walk from the house to the dining patio, lounge, or garden. Changes in direction and level deserve attention so the lighting plan supports the actual route through your yard.
A tree, stone wall, or architectural detail can become an evening focal point. Choose what deserves attention and leave quieter areas around it instead of treating every surface as equally important.
A fixture that looks well placed on a plan may point toward a chair or window. Review light direction from the places you use most so the effect is comfortable at normal viewing height.

Completed backyard at sunset with uplighted trees along a synthetic lawn.

Describe a typical evening outside. You might cook, sit beside the pool, or walk from the patio to a separate gathering space. Each activity uses a different part of the yard. This makes it easier to decide where useful light belongs and which landscape details should provide the background.
For a new backyard, discuss lighting before paving and planting are complete. Fixture positions, cable routes, controls, and power requirements can affect the construction sequence. If you already have a system, identify what works, what needs attention, and which parts may be retained after review.
Ask about 3D landscape renderings when you want to discuss the proposed appearance before installation.
Review the proposed fixtures, locations, color appearance, controls, and installation boundaries. Your proposal should explain any transformer, wiring, or power work involved and identify responsibilities for specialist work or required approvals. The objective is an intentional evening landscape with a scope you can understand before installation begins.
Yes, an existing landscape can be reviewed for a lighting improvement. Access for wiring, available power, fixture locations, and retained paving or planting will determine how the work can be approached.
The route, fixture output, surrounding materials, and changes in level should guide placement. A repeated spacing pattern alone does not explain where the light is most useful or how the finished effect will look.
Discuss those areas as part of the same evening plan. Landscape accents and task lighting have different roles. Confirm which fixtures, connections, and specialist electrical work are included in your project.
Ask which control options suit the proposed system and your routine. Review timer or other compatible control provisions, where they will be located, and how the agreed setup will operate.
Share your Scottsdale property location, daytime and evening photos, and the areas you want to use after dark. Mention existing lighting and any wider landscape changes so we can discuss a coordinated proposal.
