Mike and his team did a fantastic job bringing our vision to life. Our backyard was dirt with a pool and casita. The transformation is amazing and the workmanship was excellent. They were professional and had great communication, which we appreciated. We would highly recommend them for any job you have.

Diamond stone was a blessing to work with. Communication was easy, everyone was punctual and easy to work with. They helped us pick a turf that would better suit our needs and were done with the work in 2 days. Everything looks amazing and I will absolutely be using them for future projects.

We were looking for a landscape design and construction service for the backyard of our new home in Phoenix. My wife found Diamond Stone & Synthetic Grass online, with good reviews, so we decided to get a quote from them. The project manager, DANIEL, responded and did the measurement for our backyard. He explained to us the materials and the labors. And the most importantly, the grading to direct water out of the backyard and away from the foundation of the house. In the same afternoon, he sent us the quote, the detail measurement, and the selections of materials. The quote is much better than what we expected, so we decided to hire them for this project. While the construction is ongoing, Daniel always kept us updated. We asked a lot of questions during the process, to prevent mistakes caused by misunderstanding. Daniel and his team always responded in a timely manner. The whole team is knowledgeable, friendly, and patient. They took care of the questions and issues we brought up, and the project ends up awesome. When I saw the outcome, I have nothing else to say but WOW. There was a tiny hiccough that the paver was too close to the gate, causing it hard to close. Once we brought it to Daniel's attention, his team showed up in two days and fixed it. How can we not appreciate a team taking care of problems so quickly? We are very happy that we chose DSSG to do our backyard.

Extremely satisfied with diamond stone. Daniel was very friendly and helpful during the consultation. I met with so many different companies, but knew almost immediately I’d go with them because of how Daniel communicated and made me feel confident in their work. The crew was very quick and professional as well. We got new turf installed and it looks amazing! Even after it was done, they have been communicating with me all the way. Great service and reasonable prices.

Plan landscape lighting around the way you want to use your Paradise Valley property.
Coordinate the approach, entry planting, and nearby surfaces so visitors can follow the intended route. A considered entry scheme connects the landscape to the building rather than creating a separate display.
Review where a beam will end and what lies beyond it. Fixture position and aiming deserve attention beside windows, neighboring properties, and areas where you want a more subdued evening setting.
A few well-chosen landscape elements can give your evening outlook depth. Compare the foreground and background from the rooms you use, including how the lighting relates to the terrace immediately outside.

Completed palm uplighting beside a synthetic lawn and decorative gravel.
Finished front entry at dusk with illuminated steps, palms, and a turf-lined walkway.
After aerial view of a finished putting green and connected outdoor living areas.
Start indoors with the rooms you occupy after sunset, then walk the intended outdoor routes. What looks attractive from the driveway may create a different effect from your living room. Identify the views you want to preserve and the places where an exposed light source could be distracting.
A renovation also gives you an opportunity to coordinate landscape lighting with new stonework, planting, or patio changes. Discuss fixture access and future adjustment before the surrounding work is finished. Where an existing system remains, its components and capacity need review before additional fixtures are assumed to be compatible.
Ask about 3D landscape renderings when you want to discuss the proposed appearance before installation.
A lighting proposal should identify the chosen fixtures, intended locations, control approach, and installation work. Discuss power connections, cable routes, and any specialist electrical requirements. Confirm which adjustments or final setup are included so the installed effect can be considered alongside the equipment list.
Yes. Begin with the routes and details that matter most, then discuss where light can be directed and limited. The fixture selection and aiming should support that intention rather than maximizing brightness everywhere.
Share the features you want to emphasize. Their dimensions, textures, location, and surrounding views help guide the fixture discussion. Plant growth and access for future adjustment should also be considered.
Review fixture positions from those viewing points and discuss shielding, aiming, and output with the proposed products. The final plan should consider where the light falls beyond the feature it is intended to illuminate.
That requires a review of the existing equipment, wiring, condition, and proposed additions. Do not assume an older transformer or control setup is suitable until the relevant system details have been checked.
Yes. Include it while reviewing planting, paved surfaces, and outdoor rooms. That lets you discuss installation routes and sequencing with the wider landscape instead of treating lighting as an afterthought.
