Diamond stone was a blessing to work with. Communication was easy, everyone was punctual and easy to work with. They helped us pick a turf that would better suit our needs and were done with the work in 2 days. Everything looks amazing and I will absolutely be using them for future projects.

We were looking for a landscape design and construction service for the backyard of our new home in Phoenix. My wife found Diamond Stone & Synthetic Grass online, with good reviews, so we decided to get a quote from them. The project manager, DANIEL, responded and did the measurement for our backyard. He explained to us the materials and the labors. And the most importantly, the grading to direct water out of the backyard and away from the foundation of the house. In the same afternoon, he sent us the quote, the detail measurement, and the selections of materials. The quote is much better than what we expected, so we decided to hire them for this project. While the construction is ongoing, Daniel always kept us updated. We asked a lot of questions during the process, to prevent mistakes caused by misunderstanding. Daniel and his team always responded in a timely manner. The whole team is knowledgeable, friendly, and patient. They took care of the questions and issues we brought up, and the project ends up awesome. When I saw the outcome, I have nothing else to say but WOW. There was a tiny hiccough that the paver was too close to the gate, causing it hard to close. Once we brought it to Daniel's attention, his team showed up in two days and fixed it. How can we not appreciate a team taking care of problems so quickly? We are very happy that we chose DSSG to do our backyard.

Extremely satisfied with diamond stone. Daniel was very friendly and helpful during the consultation. I met with so many different companies, but knew almost immediately I’d go with them because of how Daniel communicated and made me feel confident in their work. The crew was very quick and professional as well. We got new turf installed and it looks amazing! Even after it was done, they have been communicating with me all the way. Great service and reasonable prices.

Plan synthetic grass around the way you want to use your Scottsdale property.
A broad lawn gives you a different outdoor experience from a narrow green strip between paving. Choose the footprint around how you relax, walk through the yard, and use the surrounding seating areas.
Paver paths, pool surrounds, and planted borders all meet the lawn somewhere. Review these edges as part of the layout so the cut lines and changes in material feel intentional.
Compare the appearance and feel of available samples. Explain whether the area is mainly for looking out over, regular foot traffic, or pets, since the product and care discussion should reflect that use.
These real project photos show work from the DSSG portfolio across the Phoenix Valley. Explore the finished materials, layout, and connections between outdoor spaces.

Begin with the view through the doors you use most often. A lawn can frame a dining terrace or create a softer connection between the house and a separate lounge. Mark the routes people already take before settling on its outline, especially where furniture or pool access limits the available space.
For a larger landscape renovation, coordinate turf preparation with paving, irrigation changes, and planting. The surface is only part of the installation. Existing material removal, the prepared base, seams, edging, and drainage all belong in the project discussion before the finished grass goes down.
Ask about 3D landscape renderings when you want to discuss the proposed appearance before installation.
Your proposal should identify the turf product, installation area, preparation, infill, and edge treatment. Discuss any irrigation changes and how water will move through the completed area. Synthetic grass still needs cleaning and care, and exposed surfaces can become hot in direct sun. Include shade and maintenance in your planning rather than treating the lawn as maintenance-free.
Yes. Plan the paving and turf boundaries together, including paths, steps, and furniture zones. A coordinated drawing helps you review how the finished surfaces meet before installation starts.
Look at color variation, blade appearance, pile height, and how the sample feels. Ask which product is proposed for your use and what cleaning, brushing, and infill care it requires.
Do not assume a turf surface will stay cool in direct sun. Discuss exposure, shade, and the intended hours of use. Check surface conditions before barefoot use or allowing pets onto the lawn.
Share the area you want to change and the features you want to retain. Access, existing levels, drainage, and the join to the remaining landscape need review before a partial replacement can be scoped.
Send your Scottsdale property location, photos, approximate lawn size, and any planned patio or planting changes. Those details give us a starting point for discussing the installation and preparing a property-specific proposal.
