Diamond stone was a blessing to work with. Communication was easy, everyone was punctual and easy to work with. They helped us pick a turf that would better suit our needs and were done with the work in 2 days. Everything looks amazing and I will absolutely be using them for future projects.

We were looking for a landscape design and construction service for the backyard of our new home in Phoenix. My wife found Diamond Stone & Synthetic Grass online, with good reviews, so we decided to get a quote from them. The project manager, DANIEL, responded and did the measurement for our backyard. He explained to us the materials and the labors. And the most importantly, the grading to direct water out of the backyard and away from the foundation of the house. In the same afternoon, he sent us the quote, the detail measurement, and the selections of materials. The quote is much better than what we expected, so we decided to hire them for this project. While the construction is ongoing, Daniel always kept us updated. We asked a lot of questions during the process, to prevent mistakes caused by misunderstanding. Daniel and his team always responded in a timely manner. The whole team is knowledgeable, friendly, and patient. They took care of the questions and issues we brought up, and the project ends up awesome. When I saw the outcome, I have nothing else to say but WOW. There was a tiny hiccough that the paver was too close to the gate, causing it hard to close. Once we brought it to Daniel's attention, his team showed up in two days and fixed it. How can we not appreciate a team taking care of problems so quickly? We are very happy that we chose DSSG to do our backyard.

Extremely satisfied with diamond stone. Daniel was very friendly and helpful during the consultation. I met with so many different companies, but knew almost immediately I’d go with them because of how Daniel communicated and made me feel confident in their work. The crew was very quick and professional as well. We got new turf installed and it looks amazing! Even after it was done, they have been communicating with me all the way. Great service and reasonable prices.

Plan putting greens around the way you want to use your Paradise Valley property.
Consider the green from your windows and covered patio as well as from the putting surface. Its outline should leave purposeful space for existing planting, outdoor rooms, and the paths connecting them.
Choose the kinds of putts you want available, then discuss contours and cup placement. A focused practice layout can be more useful than adding features that compete for the same limited playing space.
Fringe, stone borders, and planted edges influence how the golf feature sits within the landscape. Review the width and upkeep of these surrounding areas while the main surface is being designed.

Walk the part of your Paradise Valley property you are considering and identify what should remain. Trees, walls, paving, and pool access can influence both the shape and the preparation work. A drawing should show the full golf area and its relationship to the retained landscape, including space to stand and move around the surface.
Discuss who will use the green and how often. You may prefer a quieter personal practice area or a feature that guests can enjoy near a terrace. That decision helps guide its position, nearby seating, and whether lighting or other landscape work belongs in the same project.
Ask about 3D landscape renderings when you want to discuss the proposed appearance before installation.
A clear scope identifies the putting turf, fringe, contours, cup arrangement, base preparation, and drainage approach. Confirm what is included around the perimeter and how existing areas will be treated during access and installation. Any additional golf features should have a defined purpose and enough space to use them appropriately.
It can be discussed without assuming a complete yard replacement. Identify the proposed area and retained features first. Their positions, condition, and access requirements will influence the feasible layout and installation scope.
Yes. Explain the putting distances and types of breaks you enjoy. The design can focus on those priorities rather than filling the area with extra cups or complicated contours.
Compare access from the home, views, available room, and the relationship to other outdoor activities. Existing drainage and ground conditions also need review before a preferred location becomes the installation plan.
Keep leaves and debris off the surface and follow care guidance for the selected turf and infill. Ask how to look after the cups, edges, and fringe so maintenance is considered with the design.
Ask about 3D landscape renderings when discussing the project. A visual plan can help you assess the shape and surroundings, while the written proposal confirms the materials and agreed installation details.
